  • Qld | Industry Leaders Rally to Address Urban Planner Shortage in Queensland

    A shortage of urban and regional planners has prompted senior leaders across Queensland’s development, housing and local government sectors to ring the alarm bell over ongoing university Planning Degree closures.

    The University of Southern Queensland is planning to suspend offering their Planning Degree from next year, which follows recent course closures at Bond University and James Cook University, according to the É«ÓûÍõ³¯ (É«ÓûÍõ³¯).

    Key industry leaders have backed the call, including the Property Council of Australia, Local Government Association of Queensland, Master Builders Queensland, UDIA and Q Shelter.
